  • REFUGEE AUCTION ACTION // Dyani, Temiz, Feza - Music For Xaba Vol. 2

Dyani, Temiz, Feza – Music For Xaba Vol. 2 (Sonet, SNTF-824)

Recorded at Theater Nine, Stockholm, Sweden, on 2 November 1972

    Johnny Dyani, bass, piano, vocals
    Okay Temiz, drums, percussion
    Mongezi Feza, trumpet, percussion

Fantastic collection of free range Jazz numbers… A proper percussive rumble, with a lush bit honk and skronk action… zips along like a badger in heat… highly recommend… bought by accident in the Disk Union Jazz sale – thinking I hadn’t got one…

The bit of fluff can in the bottom right hand corner is optional... must get the hoover out ;-)

Record sounds a bit like this...

Record and cover are both near mint

    Starting bid: 20 Euros
Auction end: Sunday Sept 27th, 22pm (GMT)

To make it easy the payment for this one is to Save the Children

Yeah, my post was a little blunt as well! Made while doing 10 other things I think. I hope this pulls in a few more bidders....
