  • Kevin Rowland (Artist/Musician) Thursday 6 July 2017 @ 7pm (Outlaws Yacht Club, Leeds)

Absolutely nothing to do with me but another of Chris's nights that is well worth highlighting… possibly doesn’t need a plug as it will sell-out, but well worth posting to highlight the MAP charity the events support…

    In Conversation with: Kevin Rowland

When: Thursday, 6th July 2017 - Begins at 7pm (Come Early)

Where: Outlaws Yacht Club, 38 New York St, Leeds

How Much: Eight pounds 35 pence (ticket details below)

The big-up: Unless you’ve been living in a cave since 1980, you will know that Kevin Rowland is leader of the iconic Dexys Midnight Runners, now Dexys, who staged a critically acclaimed comeback in 2012 after a 25 year hiatus, with the phenomenal long player ‘One Day I’m Going to Soar’.

Kevin is a one-off. A singer, artist and maverick, and we are absolutely delighted to be welcoming him to the Chinwag settee for a chat on Thursday 6 July 2017 at 7pm.

Tickets are available on the link below and you now have the option to make different levels of donation on your ticket price.

As ever, we are supporting MAP, a Leeds based charity who run music and art programmes for young people at riosk of exclusion from mainstream education. A really wonderful charity doing really wonderful things.

After his Chinwag visit, on Saturday 8 July, Kevin will be heading over to our friends The Golden Lion in Todmorden, where he’ll spend an evening playing one of his legendary DJ sets. We cannot recommend The Golden Lion highly enough- ace people, ace place, proper good music.
There are a very limited number of tickets still available here:

Hosted by psychotherapist Chris Madden, Chinwag invites you to lean in and listen to a conversation about life and anything else that comes up. Unlike a Q&A, this is an opportunity to get to know someone a bit better, hear a few of their tales, find out what makes them tick, share some insights and maybe ask a few questions too.

As ever, proceeds are in support of MAP (Music & Arts Productions) which enables disadvantaged young people at risk of exclusion from mainstream education access to art and music courses. Laetitia has kindly donated her fee to help us support MAP’s inspiring projects and promote arts education in the community. Grab a ticket, join in the chat and support an amazing organisation.
