          Thanks for this

I have been circling around this forum for a while now, but haven't posted before.

I have just recently started getting into British jazz, (Mike Gibbs, Basil Kirchin, John Surman, Nucleus) so this is an excellent way for me to discover more!

Threads like the above are what make this site great!

              Fantastic work Folkishienne
He also contributed songs for the Jim Henson movie vehicle 'Muppets From Space'.

Jesus, Matt, are there any jazz records you don't own? other than rubbish ones, of course.

I recently missed out on a copy of that Cavril Payne thing; a stunning stunning tune that I'd been on the lookout for over the years: went a bit high for my budget.

And as for the LJIV, top, top stuff.

My very kind girlfriend managed to locate a mint copy of Cavril Payne and bought it for me for Christmas two years ago… She hasn't yet found An Elizabethan Songbook, I'm afraid, and consequently I got a hat and coat stand this year.

I am stunned by your collection, sir. Thank you so much for sharing this with us, as I have desperately (and more so now, after your cheeky mp3 tasters!) been after some of the things posted.

There's so much great suff out there I don't have, I've missed (Including that Tatum we were watching) or even know about. I really don't want this chart to come accross to people as a showing off exercise...Of course it's nice to have some special bits but I've tried to select some of my favorite pieces to share regardless of weather they're well known, expensive etc.
The Cavril Payne track in the chart has been on my wants list for a long time and I was lucky to have recently caught it at a reasonable price...To be honest though I don't think it's worth the top wack prices it used to sell for.
The LJIV, however, I really like and is worth every penny to me .
