I had those - and some EPs - sold on t'bay years ago unfortunately - wish I'd kept them

I have some narrowboat albums too, and steam LP's (an Eyemark one has a load of cuttings about the lines in the sleeve) - and on the birdsong tip, an EMI custom press 7" of rare Canary songs, pressed specially for some Canary birdsong convention !

What about Grand Prix records? I've become a bit obsessed with motor racing in the 60's and 70's of late. Interesting times - interesting drivers - many of whom didn't live very long.

Have the films "Le Mans" and "Grand Prix" (featuring Françoise Hardy) not go a bit of hot engine action on their respective OSTs...

Yes, you're right. Also after commentary and interviews with the drivers. They were a very cool bunch.

Lots of racing in Un Homme Et Une Femme.
Some samba singing and anti-climactic shagging, too.

I hate that anti-climactic shagging. But then if the other option is not having any...I was in a Citreon the other day, watching Andrei reboot a PC but my overall ambition is to get the barmaid from my local to sunbathe nude in my back garden. She has a nice body.

I've got the Jackie Stewart LP somewhere, and some drag racing ones....

I am with you on that one GK, she is great though. If she ever came up north I would find a suitable place to rest my chin / testicle combo on her ample chest.

Like the great Michael Jackson once said (to the now sadly gone Paul Mcartney) "the girl is mine".
I know your game Lionel! I can see what you really are!

I'll see your Jackie Stewart and raise you a flexi disc of Japanese motorbike engines, a double LP of F16s and Harrier Jump Jets and Manu Dibango advertising the 1977 Toyota Corolla

Those Drag Racing ones sound like fun. Pics?

I dug out and listened to all my steam train records last night.

                              I was well chuffed.

He would be still playing them now, but he ran out of steam. By which I mean records and energy. The puff.
