Someone has recently posted up a youtube comment on this one, saying it is:

I'm gonna leave her - the mirage

    can anyone verify this?

And where can I bag myself a copy?

Back after a few more technical problems...

    17. Four in the Morning (1965)

Moody British B-Movie with atmospheric John Barry score. Lots of great River Thames location stuff like this bit:

    18. Nancy Wilson (mid-60's)

Nancy Wilson does a couple of numbers in a club scene from the I-Spy TV series. Nice Billy Eckstine Shirts boys...

    19. 30 is a Dangerous Age, Cynthia (1968)

Fabulous opening credits sequence, Dudley Moore, the Kings Road and a London bus filled with girls.

Three more dusty relics from the Sir Slim tape archive for your viewing pleasure

    14. Monitor - BBC TV (mid 1960's)

Excerpt from the great "Monitor" arts programme, this sequence shows a day in the life of a 60's fashion photographer - apparantly it's all tea drinking, playing jazz and soundtrack LPs and taking a few snaps on your instamatic...

If anyone can tell me who does the great version of "nice work if you can get it" in this clip wins a prize, as I've yet to stumble across it on my travels

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2gEo6u5u8Y

    15. Heinz Tomato Ketchup TV Ad (circa late 1980's)

One of my favourite TV adverts - modal jazz, John Prescott and some burgers.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwJ5hf462Z4

    16. B-Movie Beatniks (early 1960's)

"Let's dance, this record's divine!". Short but endearing sequence from a British B-movie that I've forgotten the name of...

A choice selection box there GK!

I reckon that chap in the Blue Sunshine clip just came down expecting a jazz dance night .

Mind you there's been times when a perspex screen around the DJ booth would have come in handy to fend off the persistent requesters.

The Cliff clip has been axed by the youtube rozzers blimey.

Hey, that was 160,000 BC - everyone wore headbands then.

Excellent choices, never seen that 'Champions' scene before - glad I have now.

Okay, more scenes from giallos that feature an element of the groovy:

Three from 'Col Cuore In Gola' (1967):

Swinging Club Scene With Bizarre Male Dancers

Attractive woman strips whilst cool French film star bangs drums like a monkey

It's my Happening, baby, and it freaks me out

And a great clip from 'Orgasmo' (1969)

Mutilated bassist plays in white soul group

Oh, and while I'm at it - what do you lot think of this then? Be honest.
