  • Sie's Garage Soul Vol.2 (Chart)

Another rummage around the garage roofspace this weekend and I finished looking through boxes of 45's. Found my long-lost copy of the "Get Carter" theme on Pye, a Euro issue Dillinger "Ragnampiza", my one and only Baris Manco 45 and "Chase Side Shoot Up" by Brian Bennett. All now safely inside enjoying the warmth away from the snow.

Here are another ten 45's for you to enjoy...

Billy Joe Young "The Push" (Jewel)

Curtis Davis "Your Love & My Money" (Bev-Mar)

The Measures "Can You Handle It" (Despenza)

The Notations "I Can't Stop" (Twinight)

Toby King "Itch & Scratch" (Sound Plus)

The Soul Rockers "The Hawk (Part 1)" (Sussex)

    Dandelion Wine "Hot Dog" (Sussex)

    Wayne Cochran "Chopper 70" (King)

George Perkins & His New Revue "What The Deal Is" (GP Records)

All Points Bulletin "Disco Funk" (Little City)

Oh, there are another ten here if you are interested...

If you're looking for a pristine copy then this isn't the one for you. The vinyl looks like someone has polished their brickwork with it and the label has been ruined by some fool with a pen.

Cheers for this Sie, great stuff as before.

On first listen, I particularly like the Curtis Davis and Dandelion Wine. And neither of them seem particularly pricey.

      Which is nice.

      EDIT*** Wayne Cochran - OOOF!

Dandelion Wine used to be very popular back when buyers used 'Brainfreeze' as a search term. Has it calmed down? Do you know the Nu People song, Barney?

          (Nice stuff, again, Sie ).

You can mate, but I'm afraid this second chart will be the last report from the garage. There was only two boxes up in the loftspace and they've now been sorted through. The 45's mentioned in the introductory text were indeed found in those boxes and have now been moved back indoors. I've now worked out how that happened. Never again!

... there are still about 200+ 80's library LP's in there...? maybe..? perhaps..?
