Yes! He is genuinely hilarious. Just looking at him makes me giggle.

We had a fantastic puppy TV series over here when I was a kid - used to love it and 2 years ago or so I bought the whole series on DVD and enjoyed it all the way through. It was Skrot-Nisse - about a scrapyard in a smalltown and various adventures surrounding it (eventually leading to a trip to Sahara, a bird that scared the shit out of me as a kid, a mad inventor with a flying machine and more).

In this clip Skrot-Nisse buys a really cheap submarine to strip for parts, but it comes with a submarine Captain who refuses to leave ship until they lure him with... see for yourselves. Check out the amazing details.

And here's a clip from the mad inventor in Sahara when one of the bad guys gets punished by a magician:

(even if you get bored because you don't understand Swedish - watch the beginning and then the last ca 90 seconds for the best bits)
"Only one thought left, that makes me come alive,
and that is you and me side by side, on the licorice ride"

I love the matter-of-fact 'Yes' he gives when Soo tells him he just smells of old bones - Sweep is brilliant!

And let's not forget The Battle Of The Drums! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZSdykT1G7c

That Sweep clip won't work for me. He always reminded me of Clement Freud.

The beatnik monkey clip is the bollocks, GK.

I'd have to say the next-level part is the 'it's an aubergine' joke. I can remember me and my brother killing ourselves laughing when we saw that as kids!

Yep, that's top too as is Lord T's fave piece of quality Sweepage.

See? Sweep is the master of puppets.

The contemporary episodes show more 'leg' shots, which are highly amusing.

                      They are.

                      Really!
