Great film - for the director of Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise to come up with this was a very pleasant surprise!

I'm amazed this is in Poundland. Shouldn't be. One of my favourites of the many, many kids animation films that I've seen over the past few years due to having two young boys who mysteriously prefer this sort of thing to the latest Michael Haneke or Coen Brothers opus....although they also really like it I'd say it's not their favourite - most likely for the very reason that they don't yet get most of the references Ian mentioned.
