I buy films from a film collector guy. I asked him for psychedelic films and these are what he said
Anyone know anything about any of those? Would be grateful of tips as to what I should choose.
Re: dreamlike or psychedelic films, I can't recall what I've already sent, but off the top of my head I'd suggest the following: Gábor Bódy's Nárcisz és Psyché, Patrick Bokanowski's L'Ange, Luigi Bazzoni's La donna del lago and Le orme, any of Carmelo Bene's films, Jiri Svoboda's The Invisible, Mariusz Gregorzek's Krolowa aniolow, Aleksandr Kajdanovsky's A Simple Death, Matthias Müller's films (especially The Memo Book, Alpsee and Pensao Globo) and Olivier Smolders' Nuit Noire (along with his short films). Also possibly of interest are Philippe Grandrieux's films (especially Las), Piotr Dumala's films (particularly his live-action work Las/The Forest), Aleksandr Rogozhkin's Karaul, most of Wojciech Has's films, Francisco Athié's Vera, Tadeusz Junak's Palac, Juraj Herz's Pasaz, Jean-Pierre Mocky's Litan, Claude Chabrol's Alice ou la dernière fugue and most of Robbe-Grillet and much of Raoul Ruiz.
