  • Glasswear

Scouring a chazzer today I found a piece of local glasswear. A decent sized thing. Star shaped. An arty sort of fruitbowl? $6.

The only drawback is that the inner surface is dull. It looks dirty. What gives? How do I fix it?

Glassware is what you have and maybe it's glass-wear that's the problem. Has something that was in the bowl etched the glass? If it hasn't it'd just wash off what with glass being impermeable 'n' all.

I saw the typo. But I couldn't see how to fix it.

I've no idea as to the cause of the dullness. Brief googling just throws up dishwasher related damage. Which seems unlikely in this context.

There is a suggestion that some glass care specialists re-gloss. But I'd rather avoid the expense if possible, so as to retain the glass-related Oooof factor.
