Clown attacks

I don´t get it.
Clowns are funny, tumbling around with their big feet and rubber hooters.
Why is everybody frightened of them all of a sudden?
If a "creepy clown" jumped out at me, I'd clap and laugh in delight at his big red nose and outlandish capers . I bet he'd soon bugger off.

Funny I was just reading the local newspaper website and they had a story about this as its been happening in this neck of the woods. I've never seen any roaming around to be fair I probably wouldn't notice.

It reminds of the time I found an old 70's framed picture of a clown for a pound (bargain as it was huge) in Age Concern and hung it in my stepsons bedroom as a prank thus discovering his fear of the Clown. It turns out the artist of my picture only painted clowns and bizarrely shortly afterwards I was doing some work in Slough and staying at a guest house in Maidenhead and to my shock and horror as I walked in the whole bloody downstairs was decorated in framed pictures by the same artist.

Haha, it might as well have been, I took pics on an old phone I'll have to dig them out but I don't think they fully illustrate the horror of the situation. Karma got me for real that day.

I can´t think of anything more charming and amusing than a room full of clown pictures. It would cheer me right up.

I believe it's a 'thing' that started in the states recently and spread via social media.

I've remembered the artist 'W.Moninet', cant mistake his style. :

I'm fed up with hearing about those clown attacks. It was all over the news this morning as I was having my breakfast. This one was particularly scary though

Are people confusing Clowns with Juggalos?

Juggalos are everywhere in Cambridge. Especially around the poor peoples university, Ruskin.

I didn't know what a Juggalo was until about half an hour ago. There's so much in this world that is a complete mystery to me. This has only added to it.
