• 50p funk

I made this comp to try and educate my mates in all things funky and from charities. A couple of ones I didnt quite spend 50p for (trades and so on). But on the whole it was.

No surprises for you lot but you might be bored at work wishing for something other then 50 cent.

I've been playing Roger Coulam's take on Ode To Billy Joe lately - a nice bit of 50p groove from the LP Hammond Stereo Sounds To Spoil You, on Contour - that I'm sure everyone here knows...

Think I've seen that in old Boogiejuice's auctions before, so IT HAS TO BE GOOD!!!

As a general rule of thumb though, Serms, you'ld have to say that was a considerable touch to get that album for 50p.

                      Got mine for £20 - which I thought was a steal, a f**kin' steal, it's a sale of the f**kin' century.

To be honest, that's true about one of two from this list Sermad - things that I was over the moon to be able to snag for a quid or so....

Lee, ignore Sermad, the Terry Durham is:

                          Deram DML/SML 1042 - Terry Durham - Crystal Telephone - 1969

(Rich got his for 15 i believe...)

I got mine in a trade from the bearded one. And then I found one for £15 a couple of weeks later and gave it to Nick C. So 15-20 is average it seems (lack of wink now )

15 is about right for the Durham, that's what i paid too (cheers Serm) and it was offered to me about 6 years ago for 25, which I thought was a bit pricey back then... someone on Gemm is selling it for about 35... it is Gemm after all...
