• Dewolfe library lp's

I was doing a little diggin' today and came across several DeWolfe libary lp's, but they were all marked at $25 each...and they were all used of course. Is $25 a justified price for old DeWolfe lp's or do you think the record store clerk was being overly presumptuous in thinking they're worth a lot of money? I was a little miffed when I saw the price tag....they might as well sell them on ebay if they're gonna mark them up so high.

anyway, I just wanted some opinions from some of you veteran diggers out there as to their worth. Should I go back and try to talk them down?

this very site has a lovely library section (with words of wisdom on prices) or ebay or any of the web etailers - jazzman, mark res or record girl. Not going to post their urls here.

list up some titles and we can all help.

TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE:

There is no price guide/referrence book for Library LP's
and there probably never will be, considering none of them
were ever truly supposed to be ever for sale, regardless
of the library itself purging its vinyl stock

I just woke up if that doesn't make any sense

$25.00 is not a lot of money (regardless of our own income)
for ANY good to great record. ESPECIALLY LP's that were never
sold and/or released in the 1st place and originally
pressed in limited quantities.
