Sorry for being a bit thick here but are we saying that the version that appeared on cd as a two-fer with Shades of Blue was moody, or are we just talking about vinyl re-issues?

That's a valid question - the CD issue is perfectly legit and was done at a time when Universal was in a position to authorise it. There have been loads of changes within Universal since then which have made the issue of licencing a bit more tricky.

Ah understood. Those re-issues were my way into a lot of this stuff a few years back.

It looks like they have a boot of Shades of Blue up too.. I dont suppose you have any plans to do that one too, in the fullness of time, do you?

What's the betting those vinyl issues are just ripped from that CD

                Hi Gerald,

Fantastic to see you have the master tapes for these. Just wondering about how you intend to do the re issues? As replicas of the original releases? Do you have any other out of print lansdowne recordings in the pipeline? Exciting to know these will see an official re issue at some point.

                Best,

                HP.

It all depends how things proceed, nothing is straightforward. It's taken me years to get this far, and there is still a long way to go. It may all come together next week - then again it may not happen at all - but I'll do my best.
