  • And Vinyly

I can't imagine this one taking off but the business name did make me laugh. Mrs SK won't even countenance the idea of having our cat stuffed when he snuffs the bucket, which I thought was a pretty tame idea.

Good God! I think taxidermy has come on a bit since that. It's very artistic now don't you know. Well I suppose I could pop along to 'And Vinyly' and have him pressed into a copy of 'Live At The Witch Trials' by The Fall. I presume they can do that. It would be nice to then have that played at my funeral. I'd then like them to press my ashes into a copy of 'Manifesto' by James Lewis and the Case of Tyme to be played at Mrs SK's funeral. Strictly speaking James Lewis should be at my funeral as that's what I've always told Mrs SK but the idea of the whole of 'Live At The Witch Trials' being played to the assembled hordes- all 5 of them, if my mum and sister are still alive at the time- is starting to appeal.

Perhaps if you gave them a sample of your blood they could do a 'blood splatter' pressing for you.

I should have watched all of the video - that might have been one of the options. As it was I got jack of it about 2 minutes in.

you could record your pets and get their ashes pressed into records, that might be nice?!? no point having your own ashes pressed into vinyl as youll be dead and your records will be sold off or binned

the plot of Ghostface Killah's "12 Reasons to Die" album is that he (as gangster Tony Starks) is killed by the mafia and his ashes are pressed into 12 records - which when played resurrects him as the Ghostface Killer to exact revenge. Don't think that would be happening with the pet records, but you never know...

I've listened to the version with the Apollo Brown production quite a lot - good beats, after a couple of listens you get past the slightly annoying extra vinyl noise added
