Wow! That's a lot of music I've never heard of. Apart from Tortoise and Ranking Roger. Are you piling your basket high?

      I bought 8 LPs. Couldn't stop myself:

Lars-Gunnar Bodin / Bengt Emil Johnson - Semikolon

Orchestra Rino De Filippi, Orchestra Ollamar - Atmosfere

      Various - Thrilling Tensione-Terrore 2 - Ansiogeni

Beyond The Wizards Sleeve - The Soft Bounce

Tim "Love" Lee, Shawn Lee, Barry Morgan, Herbie Flowers - New York Trouble / Electric Progression
      (Remixed KPM tracks)

Saffronkeira + Mario Massa - Cause And Effect

Chrome - Half Machine From The Sun, The Lost Chrome Tracks From '79-'80

      Orgasmo Sonore - Themes International

Hopefully a few will be keepers ... most were under 1000 yen (less than 7 quid)

Is that any good? The only one of those KPM 100 reissues I bought (only recently tbh) was 'Afro Rock' as it's a solid album 'New York Trouble/Electronic Progression' intrigued me being a mixture of tracks and 'new' pieces based on KPM tracks.

Not got to it yet. Too busy listening to Laxmikant Pyarelal and 60s Swedish radio conrete, but will post an opinion as soon as I get to it.

Not bad at all. An enjoyable, if mostly BGM listen. I don't know the original 'Bass Guitar And Percussion Volumes 1 & 2' LPs at all, nor am I a KPM nutter, but certainly worth the 3.12 quid I paid.

Sweet, yep bargain, I only paid 11 quid for 'Afro Rock' but 3 quid is next level KPM reissue bargain hunting!

Never seen that level of Amazon clearance before. I chanced on it, but obviously I have form.

Good album. Demos and unfinished tracks recorded between Half Machine Lip Moves and Red Exposure. I got mine off the Pledge site.... orange vinyl / signed.
The only thing that it lacks is good song titles ... golden-age Chrome was chock-full of great titles ('Abstract Nympho' anyone?) ... but the titles on HMFTS are rather prosaic, to say the least.
Chrome made one more great album (Red Exposure 1980) and a good 12" (Inworlds 1981) before they tumbled from grace and descended into simplistic sludge-metal.
Hard to believe that they made two fantastic albums (Alien Soundtracks / Half Machine Lip Moves) that are 40 years old, give or take ... and still sound like the future.

I've never really listened to Chrome, but it was cheap, so I thought it would be worth a try. Looking forward to it.
