What is your favourite Aretha Franklin cover version?

After the recent death of another legend I was wondering what is your favourite Aretha Franklin cover version?

do you mean a cover she did, or someone covering one of hers?

for the former, she did a great version of Dinah Washington's "Soulville"

for the latter, a bit obvious, but I think it would have to be the Marvels

very interested to see other's suggestions though - I don't mind Aretha but besides "Soulville" I can't really think of anything else where she improved on the original or was better than other versions out there

I bought those red Atlantic 45s at Robs when I was a teenager. Share Your Love With Me and Lean On Me have always been my favourites. I didn't know they were both covers back then.

As for covers of Aretha's songs, Rotary Connections's Respect has to be one the most radical reimaginings ever.

I love everything by Otis Redding but Aretha's version of "Respect" is just better than the original.
