Lil Ugly Mane - 'Three Sided Tape Vol III'

It's long, but just leave it to burble away.

This takes loads of unexpected turns and they're mostly interesting, sometimes amazing.

It takes in Folk, Punk, Noise, dark Metal and more, interspersed with beats.

Mostly one guy. Really impressive stuff.

This one just brought a huge smile to my face when it came on the headphones just now - not heard for an age:

It's been cassette January for me. CD player is still in for repair so I've been listening to lots of old DJ Muro tapes. No tracklists but a really evocative slice of early 90's rare groove / digging culture - I like the early ones but nearly 30 years later there are still a couple tracks on every tape that I've still never heard anywhere else. I think Muro's real talent was in finding great 30 second clips from otherwise terrible records.

If it comes out on vinyl I'll have to get that too. Best thing he's done since More You Becomes You (which can also still be had for cheap on vinyl and comes in lovely packaging).
Just saw that Liam Hayes’ “Mirage Garage” soon will be available on vinyl. Pre-orders available at Norman Records and Rough Trade.

It's all been 30s rhumba round here for a while. I'm thinking of buying a Victrola.

    Tick-tick-tick. Tick-tick.

    Orchestral Hip Hop from Finland.

Liked Saimaa's last one. They scored a documentary on Finland's sporting heroes.

No idea on the sample, but I love that Tim Love Lee album, always thought it should have been more popular. There's a bunch of samples on both his albums I'd like to know...

anyone know which version of "autumn Serenade" was sampled on this one? I'd hoped to stumble across it by now - but no...
