what podcasts do you listen to?
ive recently found two Beatles ones that explain a lot behind the music. but i mainly listen to comedy RHLSTP, Blindboy and Adam Buxon mainly. a few other like Parapod and WTF with Marc Maron.

i find podcasts hard to explore, and mostly go on recommendations

    what do you listen to?

i'm pretty hopeless at remembering to listen to podcasts and stuff, but I do like RHLSTP a lot.

Also SMERSHPOD (on films). Also some of the crime ones have been interesting - there's a good one where they investigate cold cases (might have been Serial?)

I really like Bigmouth with Andrew Harrison & Sian Pattenden, two excellent journalists who know their onions. Basically a weekly podcast about pop culture for old people, album reviews, TV stuff, films etc. But always funny and lots of good music jokes.

          https://www.spreaker.com/show/we-buy-records

nothing mind blowing but quite enjoyable record related chat

I find this quite entertaining, except that one of the presenters laughs too much ...

Thanks. Always nice to get a podcast recommend, especially one that's not talking about Corona ...

                    Dogpatch is great.

The latest one just really hit the spot - the discussion and the records. Now when might a copy of that Vada Belle 45 ever pop up for sale?

Waxi turned me on to Dogpatch.

Listening to webuyrecords the last few days. Entertaining. Just like the soŕt of endless chat I could happily have in the pub. If I had like minded friends and the pub was open of course.

Have been finding it a bit difficult entering the world of Dogpatch but a track by Sunil Ganguly in the episode about Steel Guitar has helped immensely. Now to find some Sunil Ganguly LPs. I find their super hip talking style a bit hard to deciper ... I shall persevere ...

We Buy Records is an easy listen for me, and welcome in recent times when I haven't been able to chat in person to my local junkie mates.

I know what you mean, there are US references too that can make it difficult to follow, it is almost a window into another world sometimes. I find it an extension of the Waxidermy threads which I continue to feel a sort of distance from but at the same time find totally compelling, and often very amusing.

It helps when they focus on music that I know something about - and sometimes even have - it provides a sort of anchor. Dank Slaps being a case in point, and also an older one Lizards On The Deck (Easy Glide) where they played a Lesley Duncan track from an album I had just bought.
