The Votel installment is a drop of Corvalol for my vinyl collector`s heart, given how much dub-and-synth shit the guys behind Boiler Room put out. I`d also recommend Cherrystone`s and Josh Davis`s Boiler room sets for like-minded plussers.
It`s a huge pain to see no sorties into the mindsets and collections of the likes of Dante Carfagna, Rich Haupt, Paul Major, etc. these days. I occasionally surf the Waxidermy border archives until I`m near tears realizing all those head-over-heels discussions of Acid Archives entries, killer finds in the wild and swapmix tracklistings are over...

The crate diggers series was really good, Mr thing, Mr bongo, egon, Mr Scruff and the gaslampkiller are slightly less hip hop focused than most of them.
