In peoples experiences is it worth insuring anymore?

as a seller ive never had anything lost or needed to claim

As a buyer its happened once for a £20 record and seller got paid and sent another copy.

But thats been sum total of my experience
Chimptown, now twinned with Cockermouth, Penistone and Big Beaver, Pennsylvania..

I’ve got around 250 expensive and very expensive classical lps I want to auction at some point, they’ll likely all go to Asia.
Whats the best way to protect against warping?
post nearer winter, go completely over the top with very thick cardboard etc?
      Any tips?

The warping temperature of vinyl is around 60c. Where the hell are they holding these records whilst there in the shipping system.
