Available to buy now is 'Om Shanti Om', going under Don Cherry's name. Nana Vasconcelos handles percussion, and berimbau. Moki Cherry wields a Tanpura, and Gian Piero Pramaggiore guitar and flute. Don Cherry plays some great Morriconesque trumpet- you expect Clint Eastwood to walk up behind you at any moment- and they all clap and yelp. It's great stuff, you can imagine them all sitting cross-legged in the desert or something. They sound like they're having a high old time. It's taken from an Italian TV broadcast in 1976, it's all licensed and everything, good audio quality, the kind of thing I'd like to see more of.
