  • Ed at 100 club

Hey Ed, you still doing this Blaxy night tonight? I'm gonna be in town for Liam & Fin's night, which closes at 2 and I totally recommend that if anyone going to Ed's night at the 100 club, they should mosey over to Bring It Up straight after. Fin's post has all the details...

The only thing about your night, Ed, is that I'm short on cash and 10 might be too much tax for me...

Has Teddy just digi-cammed himself in one of the khazi's at Heathrow airport?

        The man's got skills.

this turned out to be a blinding gig from an inauspicious start (comedy 1970s mixer with no crossfader and a busted right channel fader that cut the volume in half unless you held it down&#33

the first band, Pimp, were really outstanding live, tough chunky, quirky very funky rock, like a cross between The Doors, The Meters and Iceberg Slim, heavy on the wah, massive drums, Hammond and fat bass.

the main Pimp man is brilliant onstage - swigging from a bottle of Verve Cliquot, sleazy, organ playing while singing, picking out 'bitches' from the audience and pimping them... excellent stuff. you get the Iceberg Slim dialogue with the tracks.

nick c, got the contact number for you, and their latest CD so you can check for HF&S. will email you.
