• ?german ebay question?

This could have been asked before but..

Does anyone have a good way of paying for German Ebay goodies?
I've been trying to pay this one guy for a month now! Everytime I send money (air sure) it gets lost! I tried sending a check and he said it would cost him 20 euro to cash it. And my bank charges £20 for a money transfer, which takes two weeks! Goddam why don't they have paypal???

I need some help please

I don't know exactly if they can help but I've found Auctionpix www.auctionpix.co.uk quite useful on international money payments

Their non acceptance of PayPal is a king-size pain in the ass. However, I've found the best way to get money to them is simply sending it in an envelope, but I always ensure that I send it as an International Signed for letter. That way, they can't pull a fast one on you (or, at least it's a bit harder&#33.

don't do bidpay will cost you 5 $ and the seller 3,5 $ or something like this... he will not be very happy

you should send him a postal money order (go to your post office and ask for rates) .. this is the best way ..

Easy really, wack it in a used 45 record mailer and post it as a record with or without registered, recorded, insurance etc and it will 99.9% get there!

Cheaper than IMO, Bidpay, etc....

Oh yeah, do not forget to write on any customs slip you might need to complete that the item is a GIFT and mark down the value as $3.00...But be warned, NEVER disguise money payments as CD's: the posties favourite

Yes sir, it is an invitation. I'm not rich or anything, so please don't ask me to pay 50+ for you...

The London guy I know has just moved there. He is at the St. Martins college or so. He is buying records oftenly, so could you deposit the money at Intoxica, Miss Brazil, Soul Brother...? We definitely need to find a possibility to deposit the money, cause my mate doesn't have a UK bank account!
