I'm going up to Southport to see a friend for the weekend. Can anyone recommend any places to go digging there? Am I too far from Manchester to go digging there considering that I'm tight for time, Cheers!!

Nothing of note last time I went there - which was afew years ago granted. Probably a few Char-i-dee shops though.
Manchester's only bout an hour on the train - so it might be worth your while....
