Quote[/b] (sermad @ Feb. 03 2004,16:05)]Anyone got the new wax poetics yet?
Yeah, got it a couple of weeks ago.... actually the most readable one for a while, kept me entertained on the 'plane to Scotland and back.
The copy with Roy Ayers on the cover? You received your SUBSCRIPTION a few weeks ago? Or did you get it from DGA? You are in the UK, right?
I am getting really annoyed that even here in the US, I still don't have my subscribed copy though DGA has been selling it for weeks...

Quote[/b] (Nick Cope @ April 29 2004,12:40)]Quite a quick read.
Well I'm reserving judgement 'til later but that's been my problem with previous issues - the 'Daddy used to be a hefty read (and not because it was such hard work, like another publication). And don't even go near the proofing...
You freeking scientologists are all the same, quible, dribble and then demand ice creams. Ohhhhhhhhhhh.
The Wax Poetics with Roy Ayers on the cover was OK. The new issue however is the best in a long time. Eddie Bo, etc. I actually read most of the articles unlike the last couple issues which I mostly skimmed through.
