I've read there were 3000 cd promos pressed, anyone know if there were any vinyl copies?

i think it was CD only, but I'm sure there'll be a vinyl bootleg cropping up somewhere.

IMO the whole thing is overhyped & over rated. Nice idea, shame about the execution.

Know what you mean - a lot of hype, but imho not too shabbily executed, and I wouldn't mind checking out an uncompressed version. That main artwork at least *looks* like an LP, and I reckon it's not too unlikely that he'd have a least a small number pressed.

i was writing an article on the record/trouble, and am sure (quite sure at least) that i bumped into information about vinyl promos. hasn't anyone else seen or read something about them. am i just dreaming?

also who would pay for these cd's as much as they do? seriously, aren't grey album promo -cds actually cdrs. i.e. anyone could burn copies and sell them as grey album promos?
