  • Bullet - hanged man --help?!?!?!

I have two copies of Bullet - Hanged Man here, I'm pretty sure they are both OGs, but there is a minor difference in the runout groove. I'm pretty sure these last few numbers changed with different pressings. But can a couple of people with certified OGs do checks please? Thanks in advance.

    Copy 1
    Side A: 2870437 1 *//*420 05 113
    Side B: 2870437 2*//1*420 03 131

Copy 2 (same as copy 1, but last 3 digits)
    Side A: 112
    Side B: 122

    peace.

Aren't these the registration numbers from the individual stampers used to press the record?
Say there are six stampers used at the same time (so that six copies can be pressed at once), each stamper has a unique code number for the purposes of quality control...if copies are found to be defective in some way, that particular stamper can be checked or replaced.
We know when a mate buys it for you too.

Sounds like a good enough explanation to me. I assumed it was something like this... thanks mate.

Just checked the run-out groove on my copy which is definitely OG and it reads like this -

            Side 1 -

            2870437 1v//1v420 05 123

            Side 2 -

            2870437 2v//1v420 03 115

            The plot thickens...
