Al Newman was a top session saxophonist who did loads of library sessions, and once played with the Beatles too!

He was a regular composer for the Peer International Library (the source of 'Five Plus Four', now owned by Bruton), was a member of the Peter Dennis Band (who did several LPs for Peer) and I think he also hid behind the pseudonym 'Sound Prospect' for the Peer 'Hit Man' LP, though there may have been other people involved too.

He's now retired and in his seventies, and a couple of years back actually made the papers when an escaped panther was found in his back garden in Cricklewood!

Anthony King was a writing partner of John Schroeder's at one point (after JS has stopped writing with Mike Hawker), they penned the musical 'Pull Both Ends' together (starring Gerry Marsden and The Young Generation no less).

I'm sure LT can add alot more detail here though
