Trunk records - ufo ost

just picked up a copy of this vinyl-only very limited release. mr trunk reckons it's almost all gone already on pre-orders. some will be going out to shops - you NEED this one.

harry stoneham on hammond - loads of nutty wah-wah breaks, beats, heavy funk. very very heavy! it's never been released on vinyl before either.

those of us of an older persuasion will probably remember the series fondly... not least because of the costumes

it seems to have gone form the trunk site - looks like it's been very popular. apparently some copies are going out through SRD distribution so maybe drop them a line and see where they're shipping to?

I had a quick blast of this morning and it was like a bolt of lightning that got me out of bed! Full review coming on the next update. Its bloody good!

If you see it buy two! As its ltd to 500 copies and will go very very very quickly!

Nice site that. Noticed they have a few copies of the REAL Ghost Dog OST. I was so disappointed when the soundtrack to this came out - none of the inceidental, stripped down stuff, which I presume this record is. (it's below the UFO record on the site)

Because I'm so skint right now, I have to be careful as to what I buy. So does anyone have this Ghost Dog record? Is it grade A smack for my vinyl veins or is it a bad quality boot, taken from the DVD... I'm praying for the former...

col from moviegrooves here. Thanks for the UFO link. If you're thinking of getting this then act quickly. I'm getting around a few orders each hr for this and quantities are v. limited.

re: Ghost Dog - excellent quality. audio *not* taken from DVD. Sounds like from masters. it's been out on CD in Japan for a while but this is the first time on LP. I'm assuming that the LP is a boot (as there's no record label info on the sleeve/sticker), but it's a good quality boot.

was checking the moviegrooves site by accident today and noticed the Dawn of the Dead soundtrack, so I quickly nabbed a copy for myself---looks fookin' great.

but i'm unbelievably broke right now so ordering a copy of the UFO soundtrack isn't happening . any possibilities of this ever getting rereleased again in the near future? On cd maybe? This has been on my wantlist for ages but i'm gonna lose out on my opportunity to buy one.
