I just finished reading this book about George Clinton called "In Their Own Words" and I was reminded of his earlier group the Parliaments with the plural "s".
I have 3 of their 45s already that I like:
Good Old Music/Time (Revilot)
(I Wanna) Testify/I Can Feel The Ice Melting (Revilot)
Look At What I Almost Missed/What You Been Growing (Revilot)
I was wondering if any of their other 45s from the 60s were any good? Comments/opinions anyone? Having a look at eBay it seems like there are lot more English sellers of Parliaments 45s than American ones. Perhaps because they were considered Northern Soul?
Here's a list of their other releases from the 60s:
Heart Trouble (That Was) My Girl (Golden World) 1965
All Your Goodies Are Gone/Don't Be Sore At Me (Revilot) 1967
Little Man/Goose (Revilot) 1967
A New Day Begins/I'll Wait (Revilot & Atco) 1968/69
