Ah, if only they hadn't welded the cd to the font then I might have been able to get if off without ripping the cover
By strange co-incidence by copy of Wax Poetics 4 turned up today too. Looks great, but *jeez* is it a heavy read... it is getting more like an adademic textbook with every edition.
Cargo should have it out in the indies soon, and Virgin / HMV to follow
So, look out for it. I know I'm partially biased, but I think that it's looking good. It's a real step up from Big Daddy style wise. Give it a go, you know you want to!
@Sermad - you expect a fee?!? I'll give you a bell in the next couple of days, to discuss this with you.
manzo
Don't call it a comeback... H, N, and the number 7.
Ok, it's a bit of a comeback, I suppose...
I was drunk, and a little short of fuse, but put simply, I'm none too keen on Sure Shots at the moment, and I would recommend buying the mag elsewhere.

Let him have the lot for £2.00 - we were only going to throw 'em out anyway...

<span =''>Huh? Â I wasn't in a 1:07am this morning, so what did you edit out Ian?!?
Mine arrived this morning and managed the considerable feat of taking my mind off the actions of that spineless runt who is apparently acting on my behalf (?). Plus the less considerable feat of making me late for work.
First impressions are that it's definitely a big improvement on Big Daddy, not least in terms of readability (and we had a sneaky peak at a good few of the pdf's before they went to press). My only gripe is that I miss Shok's covers and now it looks more like the rest of the magazines on the newsagent's shelf, which is a disappointment... And that Hammer story is ridiculous!
You freeking scientologists are all the same, quible, dribble and then demand ice creams. Ohhhhhhhhhhh.
