I knew it was gonna be a lorra lorra fun spinning one and one with Ian, got that vibe off him at the last Best of Brillo (next one May, doing the poster right now)

We were playing all kinds of games, me blend mixing whatever he would throw on and him scr, scr, scratching into whatever I was countering with. He even played that Kelis remix from DizzyBull Serms put out (hey, that's not half bad&#33 and I managed to beatmatch the Bassey version of Spinning Wheel - speaking of which, our Sheffield finer massager has a crackingly insane version by some Peruvian band that tripped a minor nerd alert...

And the young girls were funny too, prancing around like they think they're Janet Jackson (good job they ain't - it's not a titty bar after all) before enticing a bunch of sucker men to dance around them, cracked me up that!

Yeah, so lots of fun despite a quiet turnout compared to the last two month's worth - Easter you see. Vadim's gig across the street looked pretty quiet too.

the band were great! they should put out a nice little 45 or two with some of their own tracks on, but might have to be forced to investigate their CD when it comes out.

been a lot of range in style and sound with all the HF&S bands, which is a good thing, so cheers Nick!

We found him - eyes on stalks at the delightfully attired young ladies cavorting on the dancefloor.

    Crumbs.

er, but of course the real highlight of the evening was the Vibesters one-on-one action on the TT's with Nick, after 2 great sets from Horizon 22. They're playing the Lunar Lounge next month, and have a CD launch party coming up , so I suggest vultures check 'em!

That's  's house. You don't need one, Rich, as you appear to have the Beast of Bodmin guarding your manor from intruding Oompa–Loompas...

Nick, didn't he arrive with you & in the same taxi for the last Best of Brillo ? That should a clue to spotting him.

Unless he does come camo-ed up of course. Lucky the S&C isn't in Hoxton or you'd never find him if he did.....

(where has the mullet smilie gone ?)

So who's down tonight then? I gotta a feeling about this one for some reason... Starting to develop a hangover just thinking about it. Is Vibra a big drinker? Can't remember... Any tips for spotting him? He may arrive all camoed up... Maybe you consult your back copies of Guns & Ammo Serm...

Right - Right. What's it gonna be then, eh?

Who's BK-ing it, early doors tonight?

I'll be heading to the "Islington hood" straight after work so anyone around - raise your hand.

Tuff City own the rights to 'Impeach...' as used by Spoonie Gee. And Hammer was sponsored by British Knights, if I remember right.
