Issue 8 I think. I've only got to #5, fallen behind...

Mine turned up too, scuffed to hell by the bloody postman. It's always nice to know that we've got our copies long before most of the US does.

On a first flick through, the most interesting thing so far is in the interview with Eddie Bo, where he reveals (at least to me) that Inez Cheatham was a real person, and not as I had been led to believe, a pseudonym for Mary Jane Hooper (who of course is Sena Fletcher, confusing no? ).

          Just thought I'd share.

I stopped at no 6 - Sorry but it was the most tedious read ever.

            Was 7 worth getting?

Not yet, I haven't read it (or the preceding two). Not sure why I'm buying them still either.

You freeking scientologists are all the same, quible, dribble and then demand ice creams. Ohhhhhhhhhhh.

On a slightly unrelated note - where the hell has the new Grand Slam got to then?

I think I remember Nick saying, over at Deepfunk, that the original printers had been burned by someone not paying for a job and were therefore wanting payment upfront from then on, meaning that George and Bones had to go elsewhere. Still not sure that that expalins exactly why it's taken this long. I think a combination of Wax Poetics' design team and production supervision with GSM's content would maybe make for a decent mag.

Yeah, something like that. And ten grand would take a while a get together if you have £200 in the bank and I don't even have that...
