  • Kingdom of the armless man...

Well I'm out of action on the Digging front having Broken my Collar bone after a football "accident" on sunday!

Oh well at least i get a chance to catch up of vinyl thats been accumulating around the house, and maybe work on a few songs? or dig thru pages on e bay, which is probably more likely!

Keep up the crack on here, it makes for an entertaining read & education! i'll need some restbite from daytime TV!

    Chris.

Chris - we'll have to arrange a North East Vulture meet mate - If Saer's told me right, you're just down the road ! Email me...
If you're looking for a pristine copy then this isn't the one for you. The vinyl looks like someone has polished their brickwork with it and the label has been ruined by some fool with a pen.

Bad luck! But if you practise one-armed digging while you've got the chance you'll be through the crates in blinding speed when you're back to strength.
You freeking scientologists are all the same, quible, dribble and then demand ice creams. Ohhhhhhhhhhh.

yeah at least my "flicking arm" is still fit!

speaking of which, my brother starts at the back of the crate and flicks forward? this just seems insane to me, he's not chinese or anything (not wanting to come over all Ron Atkinson or anything), It just doesn't feel right (i did try it but never liked it)

be interested to know which way other people flick thru crates? (man these pain killers are really lickin in now&#33

Both (although not at the same time). It depends whether the person before has left them leaning against the front or the back of the crate. What gets me are the racks where the records are facing both backwards and forwards (or on their side). Grrr! It's normally at booters - if only they understood how tedious it is to turn every other record around.

I do this if I'm in a real hurry. Or if I'm flicking through hundreds of really shitty dance records with little expectation of finding anything decent.

It can work - I'm not going to go into an in-depth discussion on the matter though because the shame might catch up with me halfway through. It's like discussing alternative masturbatory grips.
