  • The Explosion (Spanish-only Polydor 45)

Does anybody have that one? Is there any info on the sleeve regarding who played on it. I recently found out that JA Sweden-based musician Tony Ellis played on it. The tracks are "beggar for your lovin" b/w "knock on wood".

Apparently Mods are into this. Before they were called The Explosion they went by the name of The Links. They never made any recordings with that name though.

I would love to hear it too so if anybody has a soundclip is would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

I've only just picked this up recently. Has any more info surfaced? Had a look around elsewhere but couldn't find anything

Spanish wikipedia says they were formed by Carl Douglas while he was in Spain, and featured Colombian musician Alvaro Serrano. The single's produced by the Pekenikes' Alfonso Sainz, and Serrano was also with the Pekenikes then.
There was another single, Eeny Meeny, with Douglas, but I dont know it.
