• Low life, tomorrow

We've got another Low Life if anyone can be arsed with such things. Three rooms: acid house mayhem in one, funk/rock/reggae type stuff in another and disco/funk/boogie/soul in the other with a five hour back-to-back potentially gay extravaganza featuring Nick The Record and Sean P. There are 50 tickets left in Phonica, 55 Poland Street, W1 then it's sold out. Venue is a spacious deluxe warehouse conveniently placed near to Elelphant & Castle tube.

We've got inflatable guitars! We've got muriels featuring Elton John and Debby Harry and many others! I mean, really, what more do you want?

I want someone to go with!

I am such a Billy-No-Mates

Everyone I know seems up for it until I mention the fancy dress bit.

Wimps.

Mind you I knew renting that Gary Glitter outfit was a bad idea
He also contributed songs for the Jim Henson movie vehicle 'Muppets From Space'.

Not everyone dresses up, sadly. About a quarter do and have more fun, then the rest dress 'normally'. I'm coming Tartanned-up as Les McKeown, Frank's girlfriend is coming as a Cheeky Girl-crossed-with-Jordan-and-a-$5-crack-whore.

Speaking of which, I got propositioned by a woman outside a shop in Harlesden last night. "Do you want a good time tonight?". Imagine a 60-year-old Nina Simone who lived on the street and didn't have many teeth left....

Weird that. I got propositioned on the bus to work today. Some really rank hooker drinking a can of special brew (brown bagged of course) flashed me. At 10am with a banging alchohol induced headache...no not what I needed!

Well it's Saturday night

I've got the rock star look to a tee

I have chosen Brian Wilson during his wilderness years.

I'm unshaven, slouching around the house eating junk food and waiting for Dr Eugene Landy to drop off a bulk delivery of prescription drugs.....

Wish I was at the party LBG. Next time I promise!!!

Not more boring pictures of you surrounded by scantily clad attractive young ladies LBG?

......sobs quietly to himself.....

Mind you, Lowlife only had a muriel of Debbie Harry, whereas in Newmarket this Friday Blondie will be performing live at Newmarket Racecourse! Oh yes and you thought we were behind in Suffolk didn't you? We've only had to wait 15 odd years for them to get round to putting us on their tour schedule....

Did you just recycle your Sun King outfit and go as Elton John this time Bill?

I too, wish I'd been there and next time there will have to be a VV contingent, suppressing their natural tendencies to sit in a corner and trainspot and trying to dance instead...

You freeking scientologists are all the same, quible, dribble and then demand ice creams. Ohhhhhhhhhhh.

I went as Les McKeown, but everyone seemed to think I was Rod Stewart.

Isn't he the one that ended up doing dodgy soft porn 'party' vids? Pretty sad how the Bay City Rollers got screwed over.
