Mainly buy online these days if I'm honest (I never blame my kids for that) with the occasional jaunt into town to shops and record fairs and that.
I also do a music/comedy (kind of) podcast with a chum. Everybody has to do a podcast by law these days right?

    Hi VG+,
I make graphics for video games, born in Uk lived in NZ on and off, headed back there next year. I used to DJ here in the UK playing funk, hiphop, disco and other surrounding genres. I'm a big fan of the more melodic end of weird library music, corny Italian disco music from Soundtracks, cut and paste outfits like the Avalanches and King Gizzard and so on.

I've just bought a copy of Comsopolitan Wave, which is the most I splahed on a record in about 15 years; so I guess that makes this forum relevant to me. - I'll look to getting a few more bits and pieces before I return to NZ next year, and maybe some nice funk or Northern Soul 7" for a friend back there.

Have lurked a bit on this forum from time to time - mostly to check out the tracks posted here and discover new music.

Here's some DJ mixes by other people I've enjoyed...

Hello I'm Monkadelic. Some people know me (by sight, not by name) in and around London and it's surrounding shops/fairs... I like all styles of music and usually buy the stuff no one else wants! More often than not, if my purchases turn out to have no redeeming quality for me, they usually go to charity shops for someone else to try! Like most on here I've let great stuff go cheaply or for nothing only to try in vain to find them again years later, often at vastly inflated prices! At the moment got about 10 000 LP's, best find recently was a Jazz band recorded in my local pub in '83 on Mystic Merlin Records... haven't got into listening to music online yet (doesn't appeal)... Hope to post some stuff on here if it's interesting enough...

Welcome FC, Silverchair blimey I remember them, is 1976 your year of birth would make you the same age as me roughly. Dive in mate people are into all sorts around here and I know a lot of 90's stuff is highly collectible these days. Wish I'd looked after my records when I was at school or kept half of them come to that!

New to the board, just wanted to say hi! I've been collecting (again) for the last few years! I love and collect all types of music, but have an (un)healthy obsession with late 80's / early 90's Seattle scene / Grunge stuff! My favourite band is Silverchair! Oh and I'm from England!

    Ok, bye!

Hello. I'm based in sunny Denver Colorado. I listen to a lot of different genres; I'm on a bit of a reggae kick at the moment, but I have tons of jazz, soul, electronic and dance stuff, latin, disco, and African releases (both traditional and funk/disco/boogie stuff) in my collection. I look forward to chatting with everyone!
