  • Doko + eno sharing music is loving music

Thanks for the tips on Linda Perhac, Mark Fry and Vainca Doble, all are floating my rug at the moment, any more?

its a bit cheap and cheerful but The Poppy Family's 'Free From The City' is my fave 'folky' joint this week. Also Wendy and Bonnie LP for a nice and peaceful 'wife-pleasing' weekend.

    oh, and anne briggs.

What's the Poppy Family's other stuff like, then? The b-side to their big hit ('Which Way You Goin' Billy&#39 is a great cover of 'Endless Sleep' with some nice fuzzy guitar.

Wendy and Bonnie is one of my faves, heard you're about to become a dad, I had a son Issac on the 22nd, been playing him lots of folky psyche and Raymond Scott to soothe him.  Thanks for the other tips, will check them out soon once I get some sleep.

PS Now when's that mix cd and the comps out then!  [Oh god I think I'm starting to sound like Mr. Divine!]

nice one i had a girl called 'scarlet melodie' on the 21st (summer solstice) so i'm on the folk / pleasy listening tip too (no exmagma or amon duul for a while)

lets compile the top-ten "music to stop baby cry" mix tape.

'linda perhacs' and 'karen dalton' are up there for sure.

Say hello to the wee nipper from us, congratulations, any version of Spinning Wheel seems to be doing it at the mo' and "Queen Street Gang" by Arzachel.
