I've had them in the past. There's loads of different ones, but I never found them to be particularly commonplace. Mainly stories with sound effects, but there's also a few that look at superstitions and folklore (right up your street). I believe there's one full of recipes.

Don't think he ever recorded an LP that he sang on, but he did sing in 'Basil the Great Mouse Detective' and also narrated 'The Butterfly Ball'.

    I miss that guy.

Now, there was a blog that posted a load up...can't remember it right now, but it'll come to me.

I think it's his best work, the zenith of his glittering career. That's Price's not Jackson's - clearly his career high point was coordinating the Band Aid-alike 'We Are The World' where he directed such luminaries as Lionel Richie and Cyndi Lauper to achieve what can only be described as musical perfection.

Either that or Earth Song. I hate Jarvis Cocker for spoiling his wonderful performance at the brits. He should hang his head in shame.

Vincent Price was not involved in any way in We Are The World.

            As you were.

Earth Song was good, but I think this was Jacko's finest moment, and in fact the Everest in the Himalayan range of 20th century cultural achievemnets.

The world would never be the same after 3 minutes and 39 seconds.

that's the stylish, good looking, well coreographed jacko of the early nineties that sang great pop songs. If that's your bag then you can have it, i prefer the stuff he did when his face had all but fallen off and he truly believed he had been put on this planet to save the world.

All that stuff about him and kids is a lie, a bare face lie. How dare they talk about Michael like that. He's the greatest. There will never be another like him, especially now the truth is out about Paul McCartney.

I love you michael. You are the greatest.

I am going siruptitiously turn every thread on this forum into a paean to the great man.

Nice one BC*, I'm a big fan of 'Britain's got talent' as well. Is this the heats or the finals ?

                    * Do you get this programme where you are ?

I have 2 VP LPs, one is an incredible double called
'Vincent price narrates Witchcraft & Magic, An Adventure In Demonology'
It is genuinely disturbing and was released on US Capitol in the early 70's.
I will try and get a scan up soon. I also have a Caedmon abum of him
reading Edgar Allen Poe, I will try and find that but it's way down in the bowels of my dungeon!

The edited out verse is 10000000x better than the original

It proves how long it is since I saw this album as it's not Poe Mr. Price
is reading, but the poems of Shelley. There is no date on the label or sleeve
but it's probably early 60's Caedmon Literary Series TC 1059.
