Quote[/b] (Nick Cope @ July 13 2004,12:24)]Belson, I can' t believe you passed on free Brillo beer for quality soul and glitzy starstudded movie premiers - how tedious... That's like rolling over Nora Batty to get to Cat Deeley, have you lost your mind?
Sorry, mate - but leaving the venue 'with' Brian May and Anita Dobson was funny. A flurry of flash bulbs for the famous twosome, a 'Gettoutovit' for Greg and Mel.
And the Spidey Slings, kind of a variant on a Singapore Sling were, alack, free also.

Sorry to have missed that one - still, I had a bit of a night on the tiles meself.
Hit the Jazz Cafe to see probably the most gifted of soul singers that I've ever seen. You can shove ya Joss Stone where the sun don't shine, I can tell thee!! It's all about Anthony Hamilton. Probably one of the best gigs I've been to.....period.
That followed by a visit to the Spiderman 2 premiere after party. Muchus funnus. Spent a large part of the night with Avid Merrion, mocking McFly and trying to get the blokes from Busted to swear. And the DJ for the barbecue area was playing a few Mod spins as well - which was nice! Emerged from the quagmire at 3am.
First of all, a big hand for Brother Logic, who’s good natured generosity provided many free drinks for the Brillo Boys! You see, there was a surplus from the postage payments from the recent CD swap. Simon kindly donated the £30 to the bar... And so began the inner workings of a vast conspiracy to bring absolute pain to may head this morning...
