Seven lonely steps - who is it?

does anyone know a song called "seven lonely steps"? it's a 70's soul / funk tune, male group vox, with some latin-jazz leanings (not northern soul like the title suggests). madlib played it on R1 earlier this year... i'd post up a soundfile but i'm too lazy
