I may be preaching to the converted here, but just thought I'd get back to you about the Common People LP (reissue) that I got in Selectadisc last week.
First side is ace, pure Axelrod, loads of good grooves and sample potential. Anyone who's received and enjoyed one of Serms' Psych mixes will really like it. Axelrod's credited on the sleeve, but I'm not sure what his role is, I'm guessing arrangement because some of the tracks sound very 'Songs of Experience'.
Second side's not my thing at all, too eclectic and some of it's even poppy.
But for £3.99 you can't really go wrong. Vinyl's really nice too.
Go on, break the reissues rule! Failing that, good luck getting an original for less than £100!
