It's that time again...
In case anyone who frequents the vinyl boards had his computer taken out by the electromagnetic pulse of Jack Bauer's dirty nuke or by one of them carbon bombs the US Army's been throwing around in an middle easterly direction or even if you've been too busy hacking into Fort Knox to tickle your pinks - The London meet is upon us again!
Now re-christened Fresh Brillo (or is it Brillo Fresh? Whatever, it's an anagram so it don't matter innit) it's all happening at the usual location, Salmon & Compasses cnr of Penton St & Chapel Market, Angel London N1
Peeps usually poke their heads out of their bedroom collections around the 7.30 mark and it goes on to midnight - we have full run of the decks and expect to hear everything from the weirdest car boot finds to something so ultra-rare, you'll see grown men wee themselves...
As ever, it's free (if you don't mind innocent civvies staring over at the crowd waving records around) everyone is welcome to spin something or other, it's all very democratic and strangely self-governing. Strangely because we're usually completely wasted by 9.30... Plenty to trade etc. Everyone is welcome, you don't have to be some serious collector, even if you don't have or fancy bringing records along, just chill and check out the tunes or pick up some valuable info nuggets - in fact, if you are planning to come along, try and bring a few non-collectors with you. I tried getting someone I'm dating to come along but she laughed in my face and threatened to come and laugh in everyone else's face too, so I dropped the subject...
Anyway, it's on this Monday (12th) hope to see some new faces!
