Hey all you vultures,

I have been listening to AP solo stuff on KPM, namely 'Dramtic Backgrounds' and 'Contemporary Guitar'. The track "hippy' off Dramatic Backgrounds' has been used on such classic films like Sergio Martino's 'Torso" from in 1973. It was also on the radio spot for the 1972 film 'Bad Girls'. Besides these two solo efforts, did Alan do other solo stuff? I see he has done alot for Themes in the early-mid 70's.

    Cheers,
    David S
    God bless Fatso.

That 'Hippy' track is also used in Chesty Morgan's 'Deadly Weapons' as she suffocates the bloke from 'Deep Throat' with her more than ample cleavage. The opening flute track in 'Torso' is also a KPM- 'Funky Sunrise' on KPM 1118.

Alan Parker has done tons of library stuff- I've got loads on KPM, Themes and Amphonic.

There's also his KPM-produced 'Guitar Fantasy' LP on Aristocrat, which sounds like it was done round about the same time as 'Hippy' - nice 'Trains and Boats and Planes' on that one!

... that'll be Harry Reems then, pornaholics !

If you're looking for a pristine copy then this isn't the one for you. The vinyl looks like someone has polished their brickwork with it and the label has been ruined by some fool with a pen.
