  • 7-inch boxes...

Anyone know where I can get a 7-inch record box in London? The clasp on mine broke this morning. Pref. one with a lid that shuts firmly.

I know it's not London, but Beatin' Rhythm will get you one the next day by courier - and they're bulletproof.
We know when a mate buys it for you too.

And Covers33 will also get you a box (100 or 200 45's) by next day courier. Possibly a little lightweight for a lobbing into the hold of your private jet when you're DJing in Hawaii Bill, but the prices can't be beat and I can't complain about the one I bought from them.

You freeking scientologists are all the same, quible, dribble and then demand ice creams. Ohhhhhhhhhhh.

I agree with John - they really are nice, solid, you could stand on it for a week...

E Man, you've seen the one I've got - I reckon it holds around 100 ??? is it as good as "MJ DJ" ?
If you're looking for a pristine copy then this isn't the one for you. The vinyl looks like someone has polished their brickwork with it and the label has been ruined by some fool with a pen.

Well, I've opted for Rich's suggestionm ainly because I need a load of new cardboard sleeves for my 7s. If I turn up at Salmon tomorrow with a plastic bag full of records, I'm going to having words with someone (probably myself).

If you don't like Covers 33 Bill I can sell you a carrier bag (Waitrose, Tescos and Waterstones are on special this week). And if you carry on in this direction of playing funk nights and using the small records I expect you to be slagging off James Trouble on the Funk 45 board by the end of next week.
