Hello Vultures, been awhile...

It's Sunday and the Season for Booting is right.
Scored Roy Budd's 'Fear is the Key' on 8 track!, blimin 8 track!

I just could'nt leave it there - but what use is it?

I know this topic has been raised before concerning great and weird albums turning up on this format. If anyone out there has an 8 track set up in their motor and wants to add this piece to their collection they are most welcome.

Do you have the 8 track set up in a TR5 or E-type per chance? I think that such an arrangement is possibly the only way to fully enjoy this format of Budd's 'Car Chase' (Part 1) !

Well, you could put my 8-track player in the motor, I suppose, but you'd only be able to travel about two feet before the plug pops out of the socket!

Matt, I'm affraid it was - it was a busy day down there but did'nt score much else.

If you need some motivation on those Sunday mornings let me know, me & my mate Chris 'The Tat' have been doing the rounds pretty much every other Sunday.

Could do with getting away from all the traders mind, need some fresh genuine booting.

Yeah, I've also been there pretty much every dry Sunday this year, and apart from one particularly good day where I copped *loads*, it's been a bit dry of late. Are you and Chris beating me there and cleaning the place out ?

I hear you on the traders through.... that's why I like Brookfield, as it is mainly private sellers and very little 'new' goods.

Haven't been down there myself yet, but apparently Fopp's Shaftesbury Ave shop have been flogging the reissues of Fear is The Key and Diamonds for three quid each... if anyone pops in there, could they nab a fear for me? pay you back at the next meet!

going to try and pick one up for Nick tonight on my way home, if there's any left. Selectadisc in Berwick St sometimes have 'Fear Is the Key' at 3 quid too. it's a decent gatefold/heavy vinyl job too.

Ive got an og 'fear is the key' off a vulture a while back - so I could easily part with my reissue if anyone needs one.

I'll swap it for any decent reissue/comp I havent got.

Selectadisc in Nottingham have got 'Fear Is The Key' at £2.99 as well. They've also still got the 'Resurrection' comp at £3.99.

I love Selectadisc and will tell you why in another thread!

Fopp didn't have a lot in the soundtrack section when I went in yesterday, but I was there to buy rock CDs anyway (I know, I admit it, I am the anti-Christ).

Anyone who wants anything picking up just give me a shout.
