    Someone "redited" / wholesale sampled this a few years back. I got the 12 but can't rememeber who it was...might have to dig both the 45 and 12 out to play again...now you've reminded me... Good tune indeed.

    My memory is crap at the mo. there's a nice sister funk track called Earthquake as well...I used to drop that in after the Brand New back in the 17th Century Cheeba nights.

    ...But of course I was very, very drunk

    Mmm, let's see... We've now got a whole industry making (usually crap) facsmiles of old funk records. When I said I thought I thought it sounded new, I meant new as in new-yet-studiedly-old. I don't care either way, really, I like it, but I was just curious because the drums do sound curiously bright for such a record.
