I'm trying to put on this hip hop based film night at my local indy cinema. I have some films lined up alredy, but I need a few more.
So can you help me please?

The two docs. being discussed over in the Arena thread sound just the sort of thing I'm looking for. Is there any chance someone could lend me these, please?

Also I would love to find a documentary thats about record collecting.
One of the movies being shown is about beat digging / producing, but I wondered if there is a docu out there that focuses maily on collecting. Any ideas?

    Thanks for any help.
Its strange how that, in trying to put on a show about digging, you actually have to do some digging.

Yeh there is. It was directed by a Canadian feller called Alan Zweig and is called "Vinyl". Features lots of Toronto folk.

    IMDB LINK

Released in '2000. Apparently quite good too. And the guy who wrote the score is a bit of a jerk. . .works in an overpriced store on Queen Street West in Toronto called "Neurotica".

    Anyhow, if it's ever on BBC4 I'll be watching it. . .
