• Non-english language rap

It's a newly identified genre, I'll grant you, but what about early, non -english language funky rap?

I've got one called, "Chacun Fait (C'Qui Lui Plait) ("Everybody does what they like"??) by Chagrin D'Amour, of which the dub side is really growing on me.

    Also,

Tulio De Piscopo "Stop Bajon...Primavera". V. groovy.

    There must be more?

Turkish Delight version... Sounds nice like it should be nice but in reality it's yuck - good analogy of a over-rated piece of old hip hop Colonel! No matter what language it's in...!

My favourite is Stop Ou Encore by Plastic Bertrand (the Disconet version). It's brilliant.

But there's also one by Mondino, the name of which escapes me but it came out on Island and John Kongos collaborated on it, I think.
